Join a practical training workshop to learn the ESCAPERS methodology and how to use intergenerational, game-based activities to promote social inclusion.

About the Online Workshop

The ESCAPERS project is dedicated to bridging the generation gap through innovative game-based learning. This online 'Train the Trainer' workshop is designed to equip educators and professionals from across the country with the skills and tools needed to implement our unique methodology. Participants will have the opportunity to experience one of the co-created escape games and learn how to facilitate these powerful intergenerational experiences in their own organizations, from the comfort of their own space.

Who is it for?

  • Adult educators working with diverse age groups
  • Professionals and caregivers from nursing homes, open care centers, and associations for the elderly
  • Staff from NGOs, youth centers, and other organizations working with the elderly or younger generations
  • Anyone interested in applying innovative, game-based solutions to intergenerational learning

What you will learn

  • The fundamental principles of the intergenerational, game-based ESCAPERS methodology.
  • How to take on the role of 'gamemaster' and effectively coordinate an escape game for the elderly and young people.
  • Practical tips, do's, and don'ts for implementing engaging and inclusive intergenerational activities.
  • How to adapt and use the project's tools and results to create your own educational experiences.

Our Goal

Our goal is to train professionals to confidently use and apply the project's results. By the end of this workshop, you will be prepared to implement the ESCAPERS games and methodology, helping to reduce the isolation of the elderly, promote their social value, and empower younger generations through active civic engagement.
